Another friend had the theory that we can gush at our twin pictures because you can gush over your twin, rather than being self-centered by gushing over yourself (e.g. “I am just so cute!”).

I think gushing over a cute picture of yourself, regardless of your age or who’s in it, is fine as long as it’s done in moderation. :-)

I do think that is the most I have ever used the word “gushing” in one comment…
