Professionally, I’m in User Experience (UX), but I’m an armchair transportation nerd, too. I love stories about smart cities and safe streets. When I hear an anecdote on transportation that’s broadly a UX problem, I tuck it away for future reference. That happened when I heard a guest briefly mention “Share The Road” signs on NPR’s A1 this summer.
It turns out these signs are a product that feels right from a single perspective, but delivers dangerous results in the wild.
